Handel’s Messiah returns to NHO, alongside a sparkling concert of seasonal classics and a further performance in the Manchester Monastery

We are pleased to share that, after our Winter festival had to be postponed and then cancelled in 2020, Nevill Holt Opera’s popular candlelit performance of Handel’s oratorio Messiah will return to our beautiful theatre on the 27 November.
This indoor festival will include three concerts to welcome the start of the festive season, with two held in our award-winning Nevill Holt theatre and a further performance of Messiah at the Manchester Monastery, home of our orchestra partners the Manchester Camerata.
26 November 7pm – NHO’s Emerging and Associate artists perform a sparkling concert of Winter and Christmas choral classics
27 November 7pm– The Manchester Camerata returns to NHO for this candlelit performance of Handel’s Messiah, with solo performances from some of the most talented up-and-coming opera singers in the UK.
28 November 3pm – Messiah is performed in the stunning new home of Manchester Camerata, the Manchester Monastery. For more information on this performance, please click here.
