Our operas are performed in two halves, with a long dining interval in the middle. (60 to 90 minutes). This is when most people enjoy their supper – wherever they have chosen to have it. It’s also a great opportunity to grab a programme and guide to the sculpture, or collar the head gardener to ask him for tips on how to get that border *just right*. Or you can just relax and enjoy the glorious surroundings.
Performances finish in time to catch the last train home if you need to, but otherwise there is no need to rush off. Some people like to enjoy a candlelit dessert, or to stretch their legs, before heading home.
